Big extended weekend at the cabin. Thursday had (1)Chris, (2)Mike H., his woman (3)Laura, + (A)Paulie. Friday added (4)Mike, (50Beth, (B)Skully + (C)Max, (6)Rob, (7)Jackie, AND (D)RJ (Rob Junior), (8)Matt, + (9)Tom. (10)Monica + (11)Carl popped in for a bit on Sunday also on their way home. Laura discovered she loves poo-dice. Lots of people learned to play cribbage(with an arrow poinnting to it saying Canasta). Chris + Mike H. put new heating elements in the hot H2O heater. I took apart the dryer + removed all the lint, naails, rocks, + woodchips in it. (It is more efficient now).We brought up over a cord of elm, maple, beech, box-elder, + birch. The maple is a little green still, so it's in the far back corner of the shed(closest to the Michigan 2-seater)("*Note to dan" off to the side) We also brought in all the box-elder from behind the shed, so we should make it thru the winter now. Tom and Matt built a bon-fire to get out of playing risk. We had about 2 inches of snow, but by Monday, it was mostly gone. took lots of walks, caught some movies in town, took advantage of Nancy's video + tanning going out of business to buy some DVD's.Tthe only other noteworthy item was for the low low price of 2 shotguned beers (graciously perfomed by both Mikes), a full rendition of the Banana song, and 8 dollars(donated by both Mikes, Matt + Tom) Jackie and Beth preformed a little number for us. (They used the money to buy ice-cream from dairy queen)
