5/24 - 5/28

Dan, Denise and Hannah came up for a 4 day weekend. They went to a number of different places including...

-Virgin red pine stand

-Backus Creek (saw an Osprey and a kingbird as well as a bird that they could not identify because it was not close enough, but was either a duck or a loon.)

-Firemans memorial where Hannah saw he grandfathers name on the memorial wall

-Mio Dam Flooding

-Alcona

-Some antique shops(where Hannah got a small cat decoration)

-Fly Factory(Hannah got a mouse for her hat)

They also did some work on the flower beds, while Dan cut a large portion of the lawn. They had cake and ice cream for Dan and Denise's birthday at mom and Buds house. Also had a fire two nights. Monday they left and were going to Hartwick Pines...

5/12 - 5/13

Dan came up Sat afternoon. Weed waked around the flower bed then fished the afternoon first by the old camp site then at Chase bridge had some trout bite but they all spit it out and quit feeding right after. The bear had left some signs of being around... The bird feeder was mangled and the one suit feeder was gone. And deer had a feast on the tulips in the one flower bed. A couple of Bluebirds have made the bird house in the front lawn there summer home. and a rose breasted groesbeak was in to one of the feeders.

Sunday Dan took his Mom out to breakfast at Fred's. Then visited with Mom and Bud then headed home.
