Dan, Denise, + Hannah came up Fri. Saturday they did flower beds + went to Kneff Lake. (Well, it's a really deep lake but it's small.) to go swimming. Sunday Dan + Hannah tried to go fishing at 6:30 A.M. but it rained. They went later in the afternoon for Hannah's first day of fly fishing. Hannah got a bite! Dan didn't.

7/3 - 7/6
Mike, Beth, Skully, Rob, Chris, Max, Tom, Shelly, + Stanley(the kitten) came up. Actually Rob had been up since the previous weekend. He stayed up to go hiking and almost swore off the sport. But that is another story. Anyway, all of us except Skully and the cats went hiking on the Mason Tract trail. From Chase Bridge too Canoe Harbor campground. (9.5 miles one way.) Tom, however, decided that that wasn't challenging enough and decided to take the road less traveled. If only there had been a road... He finally caught up with us after hitching a ride from a canoeist family, scratched and blistered but not much worse for the wear. We returned Saturday(today) and we all took our aching muscles home. We will hike again in a couple of weeks hopefully.
