Dan came up on the 31st followed by April, Rob, Tom, Shelly and Audrey on the 1st. then on the 2nd Tim and Ron came over from Milwaukee and Illinois. Had a few camp fires, took a trip to the Chapil, drank some beer. Tom and Shelly left early Sunday. Everyone else had dinner over at Mom and Buds on Monday for a cookout. Then April, Rob and Audrey left Monday evening. Dan Ron and Tim went to the bar on Monday night found a cool little bar out past Lazurne. Tim and Ron left Tuesday morning.
Dan stuck around till the next Saturday morning. Spent a lot of time just relaxing. Cleaned up the cabin come. Fished a little went out a couple times. and caught a bunch o chubs - I hate chubs - and also a 8"-9" brookie. got 5 yards of dirt for the flower beds, garden and hopefully a berry patch. Dug up one of the smaller beds. Also got a new bird feeder.
Chris rob and Dan came up. Went out Fri and a camp fire Sat. Dan dug up another flower bed and moved some lillies into it. Went to the Chapel with Rob. Also looked for seeds and found a number of flowers down the road which he'll pick seeds off from soon. Chris and Rob kicked back and read. Dan stayed Sunday night expecting to get up early and head to work. Looks like he'll be late. Oh well.
Mike was here with Mom, Dad, Mark, Monica + Muncher. Had a good weekend. Mom freaked out at the Chapel + thought someone was going to kill her + leave her body in the middle of nowhere. Flatlanders. Anyway, I am taking 4 tires downstate to see if I can get rid of them. Did some more cleaning in the big shed. Dug up a couple of huckleberries for native plant garden at work. Anyway, even though Dan won;t leave logs anymore, he was here last weekend and did an excellent job of cleaning the place up. I am not just saying this to smooth things over, but am being honest. - MIKE
