Dan came up. Fished the Chapil Friday - caught an 11" brown. Some Hex's were in the river after coming down but not a lot. Fish were not feeding as well as last weekend.
Camp fire with Jamie, Kevin, Josh and Jennie Fri. night.
Finished cleaning out the first flower bed. Need to get seed from bud as his wild flowers produce seed.
Fished at Deerheart on sat. Fish that were feeding mostly only jumped once a few Hex's but not many floating by. Sunday went to Kevin's graduation in West Branch.
Dan came up and fished Chase Bridge on fri. Hex's were coming off here and there. Spooked about 3-4 fish. Sat and Sunday worked on the flower bed.(first one). Fished Sat at the Chapil. Hex were in the sky. Not a lot coming down. But found a spot just upstream with fish feeding. Could not keep the fly above water - lost my fly floatent. Had a camp fire sat. night with Kevin, Jamie and Terry. Fished the Chapil Sunday Hex's were coming down and the river was full of fish feeding. Dan caught his first Brown 13" (kept it anyway).
Dan came up to fish - fished at Downey Fri no flies there. Went to the Fly Factory they said the drakes had hatched the weekend before and the Hex's were coming off the main stream by town. Set out with Kevin Sat night for the main stream. Thunderstorm hit. Hung out with Kevin and Jamie at the cabin. Sunday morning Bud and Ma came over to look at the flower beds. Told me the flowers in the first bed were root bound and come other ones need pulling. Tony came over and said he fished in the rain with and Hex's were out. Set out for the Chapil Sunday night. No hex's but there were some black winged smaller flies (black wings, brown body). Dan hooked a fish right off the dock, but lost it by trying to lift it out of the water.
