Add photographs in Nextcloud, then browse them here with the rest of the collection.

Adding photographs to an existing collection

Sign in to Nextcloud with your family account and upload the photographs.
In Photos → Albums, open the matching public album or section and add the photographs to it. Uploading a file by itself does not add it to an album.
The matching Houghten gallery normally refreshes within 15 minutes. Large batches may take more than one refresh.

Connected collections

Chris & Becky’s wedding — the 16 individual sections.
Caribbean cruise, 2008 — the four location and ship albums.
Joe & Amy’s wedding — Amy, Joe, Joe and Amy, and Wedding.
Paris and Keegan.

For wedding photographs, choose the individual section rather than the combined album.

Choose what belongs on the website

Only these existing public collections are connected. Other Nextcloud albums keep their existing permissions and do not appear here automatically. New collections are connected separately after deciding who should be able to see them.

Use JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF photographs for the website. Convert other formats before adding them to a connected album.
